Where to buy gluten-free ingredients in Shanghai / China?
One of the most challenging things about living and eating gluten-free is finding the right ingredients for gluten-free recipes. Many recipes call for ingredients that are difficult to find, not sold in China, very expensive at import stores, or not consistently stocked at local grocery stores.
I created this page to list the ingredients that I frequently use for my gluten-free recipes. I’ve included the name(s) of these ingredients in Chinese, where I found them, and the approximate price. I’ll add more to this page as I explore Shanghai and try various recipes.
