Gluten-Free Flour Substitute

Gluten-free flour mix is probably one of the most important mix for gluten-free baking. Since most pastries and baked goods require the use of wheat flour, people who are allergic to gluten cannot enjoy 99% of all the baked goods out there.

Below is the formula for gluten-free flour mix.

Ingredients:

2 cups brown rice flour
2/3 cup potato starch
1/3 cup tapioca flour

This will give you 3 cups of gluten-free flour. In addition, you’ll need about 1/2 tsp of xanthan gum per cup of GF flour mix. This simple mix can be used as a substitute for regular all-purpose flour although the results will vary.
